Meridian Becomes a Corporate Affiliate for the Maine Hospital Association, offering members expertise in technology and lease financing
Deerfield, IL (October 7, 2014) – Meridian Group International continues to be involved with state hospital associations and today announced their corporate affiliation with the Maine Hospital Association (MHA).
MHA represents 37 hospitals in Maine and is the primary advocate for members in state and federal regulatory agencies, addressing health care issues that affect all of Maine's citizens. “With local offices throughout the New England area, Meridian is able to support MHA’s mission of helping their members improve the health of their patients and the communities they serve,” stated Matt Zogg, Regional Manager.
Healthcare facilities have a continual need to upgrade various aspects of their IT infrastructure environments and medical equipment, improve quality care delivery through initiatives such as business continuity, EMR implementation and optimization, health information sharing, clinical collaboration, mobile health, and revenue optimization.
The Meridian healthcare experience brings a customizable portfolio of IT infrastructure hardware, software, services, financing options and off lease equipment to every MHA member. With a consultative approach, Meridian incorporates a vendor agnostic evaluation of various technologies and asset driven life cycle management options to meet objectives while avoiding erratic IT cost increases in the future.
“Hospitals are being pressured to maintain a mature infrastructure of IT and medical equipment without increasing their budget,” said Zogg. “Meridian has the ability to implement optimal solutions that are affordable by bundling technology and equipment upgrades with flexible financing programs.” With this strategy, MHA members will be able to establish a predictable and level-set IT expenditure plan to continually reduce costs while staying competitive.
