Inside Sales Representative (ISR)

REPORTS TO: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

LOCATION: BOSTON/WESTBOROUGH, MA OR CHICAGO, IL

SUMMARY

The inside sales team is at the forefront of developing new customer relationships for Meridian. The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) prospects from a lead database, initiating phone conversations and presenting the Meridian story to set meetings with key equipment leasing/procurement decision makers. The ISR also works closely with the field sales team to nurture prospects until they become customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Set appointments with prospects, from a targeted Salesforce.com lead database
  • Research accounts, call, email and leverage LinkedIn with prospects
  • Follow up on world class highly personalized lead generation campaigns
  • Help nurture those prospects that have already heard the Meridian value proposition until field sales team closes business
  • Respond to and qualify inbound leads via the web and phone
  • Manage, track and report on all prospecting activities using Salesforce.com
  • Develop and maintain territory plans with assigned field sales representatives
  • Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Highly motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Salesforce.com experience a plus
  • Client focused attitude
  • Capacity to understand financial services products

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

  • 4 year college degree
