The Client

Anderson Regional Medical Center was established by Dr. William J. Anderson in 1928, one year before the Great Depression hit. Even though it was founded during one of the bleakest economic eras in our country's history, Anderson grew through hardship to become the most comprehensive health system in the region. Today, Anderson is one of the largest medical systems in Mississippi and one of the state's major employers.

The Challenges

Due to aging medical equipment throughout their department, Anderson Regional Medical Center was struggling to keep patients in its system. Anderson Regional Medical Center needed a partner that could help them upgrade and replace its equipment to stay on the cutting edge and be prepared for where technology is going to be in the next 5-10 years.

How Meridian Helped

The mission of the Anderson Regional Medical Center is to continue its heritage of healing and improve the life of the people it serves. Meridian has helped to deliver on that mission by allowing Anderson Regional Medical Center to continuously offer its patients up-to-date equipment options, so they stay close to home.

The healthcare industry is really under a lot of pressure these days. Everybody wants more care, higher quality, and lower cost. But we still must invest in replacing equipment or new technology to bring new services and Meridian leasing has been a real help to us in that regard.
